Role Description

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Integration Consultant to join our Katy, TX, USA team.
The ideal candidate will have 9-12 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing integrations using Boomi and Workato platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply analysis, design, and problem-solving skills to develop and deploy integration solutions on the Boomi platform.
  • Perform requirements gathering with customers and stakeholders knowledgeable in the integration needs and document the “Integration Data Flow” and “Business Logic/Validation rules” requirements using the “design” document template.
  • Perform analysis and design and document “Error Handling Logic,” “Mapping/Transformation Logic”, “Unit Testing Scenarios,” and “Any Assumptions or Known Limitations.”
  • Strong work experience with the following technologies such as Boomi, Workato, Boomi Flow, Oracle SQL Server, API Management, JavaScript, Master Data Management.
  • Develop and test the associated Boomi integration processes, EDI integrations, and APIs.
  • Manage your own workload and ensure timely delivery of your deliverables, escalate risks and issues immediately.
  • You are results driven and work collaboratively with cross-functional development and business teams to design high-quality Boomi solutions.
  • Participate in projects requiring the Integration team expertise.
  • Prepare the implementation for sustained growth through intelligent design and a long term view with scalability in mind.
  • Participate in the peer review process to assist others in improving their code, and listening to ideas from others.
  • Interact with partners and customers both inside and outside.
  • Work to design and maintain reasonable documentation for real life reference Competencies required.
  • Good understanding of SOA design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Web Service technologies and architectures such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, etc.
  • Proficient with integration security: OAuth, OAuth2, HTTPS (SSL), WSSecurity, Signatures and Encryption, SAML, HTTP Basic authentication.
  • Background in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • In charge of analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation using Workato.
  • They design and implement automated workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Must have Workato Automation experience in developing apps from 4+ yrs to 8 yrs (relevant experience) Workato Automation Pro 1, Pro 2, Pro 3/4 Certification.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between different software applications using the Workato platform.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of hands-on-experience developing and delivering solutions related to enterprise integration, APIs, service-oriented architecture, technology modernizations & custom implementations using Java, Java Script, Groovy Script and Ruby.8+ years of hands-on experience with the Boomi & Workato Platforms, including green field implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Must have Expertise and experience in Boomi Integration, EDI, APIs.
  • Must have experience in Boomi-based integrations with at least some of the following systems: Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JIRA, and Data Lakes.
  • Must have expertise/experience in Boomi Flow and MDH.
  • Good to have Agentic AI expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential. The candidate must possess the ability to speak intelligently to the client and internal team members and understand requirements, architecture, and solutions related to Boomi or general API-led integration.
  • Experience working closely with business and architecture teams and helping them make critical decisions by explaining options, concepts and best practices around various topics such as security, logging, throttling, error-handling, scalability, and more.
